Incredible India I
Hey! It’s Ice’s journey!
Recently, I was assigned to do some job oversea and this is my first time travelling to India! From 30th of August to 5th of September. It’s a short flight as well as short trip across four cities starting at Dehli to Agra, Jaipur, and Bangalore. The aim was to visit different tourist attractions as much as we planned. Unfortunately, we still missed some of them but who cares? The stories along the journey were matter! As long as I still breathing, I won’t stop exploring.
“You’re assigned to perform some job in India for three days.” said my supervisor.
I was a bit shocked and excited at the same time. Apart from Taj Mahal and Holi festival, I don’t know much about India. I made a request for some vacation leave and proposed a touring agenda (the agenda finished faster than work presentation lol)

I don’t know how India looks like nowadays, when I was in school I knew that it’s a developing country as same as Thailand, there’re poverty, there’s caste system: Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaisyas, Sudras, and Pariahs, but it’s 2018 things might change.
Seven days in India, I can’t visit every places I’ve planned, didn’t have enough time to study about its history except the Taj Mahal, different places got different prosperity, there’re high population each city and the good thing is most of Indian can speak English very well. I met a lot of good people there but some were a bit fussy especially merchants or salesperson, they tried to convince me to buy their stuffs even I denied to purchase. It’s not as same as Thai. In Thailand, if you deny or say “No” they will stop convincing you to buy and approach another customers.
If you would like to visit India, what should you prepare?
First thing is cash. Yes! Cash! There are a lot of snacks and delicious foods to eat here also Himalaya products. Second, mask. The whether here is similar to Thailand especially in Dehli, it’s crowded and the atmosphere covered by dust. There are metro and road construction in the city and the air’s polluted. For transportation, it’s quite easy to travel around the city using Uber is convenient here. In contrast, travelling cross the city, using car rental service is recommended. If you’re Thai, before visiting any museum or tourist attraction simply present your passport to get a huge discount. There’s something weird there also, I found Indian, Chinese, and Italian restaurants. How come I didn’t find any Thai restaurant? I missed Thai food!
